Tulum, Mexico…enough said

Tulum, Mexico –

A bitter sweet feeling blogging tonight as some of my closest friends are beginning to post old pictures of someone we lost just a few days ago. The pictures of Tulum remind me of why I travel. Our friend was only thirty-nine years old. Life can end suddenly and it should not be taken for granted.

On a positive note we tripled our views to my travel blog since the day before and added two more people to my e-mail subscription list. Feel free to share this site with as many people as you can. Our increase in views inspired me to dig out these pics and do a little writing. I also want encourage you guys to make comments or ask any questions that you may have about the pics. Tulum was an amazing place, a rare spot where you have some of the most beautiful archaeological ruins set beside one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to.

In other news, I also spent some time updated my expenses of my entire trip. I wasn’t able to keep track of everything but I would guess about 90 percent. Currently, you can see how much I spent and what I spent it on in my post entitled “Swimming with Turtles, Hostel Life, and Solo Travel”. That being said, I am also excited to announce that I will be offering a one night travel course sometime in the fall. The course will be held in Lafayette, Louisiana and will include tips on how to budget travel, tricks to getting nearly free airline tickets around the world, and I’m sure I’ll share some of my most recent travel pics and stories.

Stay tuned!!!
