Bon Jour!

I’m Cajun Traveler...

Hello, my name is Dr. Toby Doré, also known as Cajun Traveler. My full-time job as a College Professor allows me to travel more than the average person with summers and winters out of school. The summers of 2012 and 2013 were the first time I took full advantage of this, traveling to 10 European countries in 2012 and the western United States in 2013. Since then I have now traveled to over 30 different countries in Central America, South America, and Europe. I traveled alone mostly staying with friends, in hostels, and airbnb homes. I am now an avid airbnb host myself www.cajunhostel.com mostly as a result of my western U.S. trip. Many of my facebook friends “followed me” as I made random posts throughout my travels which is one of things that encouraged me to start this blog. The bulk of my blog for now will contain photographs, stories, recommendations, etc. from these trips, that is until I embark on my next adventure. I hope you enjoy my blog!

Bon voyage!
– Toby
